My wife and I were looking for some good food after having fun at the beach all day. We are on a weird diet now, so we have to be really careful what we eat. After browsing the Yelp app we decided to eat here. I am so freaking glad we did! The food and the service was fantastic!
As we came in and got seated. The owner mentioned they just wrapped up a buffet style event and if we wanted to sample some of the food we could. That was incredibly nice as I really wanted to try the pepper steak. FYI it tasted perfect! The owner also said they don't add extra sugar to it!
We also had a delicious curry chicken meal, some perfect chicken wings, and a yummy jerk chicken salad. All of which were so good!!! The wings I feel kind of bad eating because I'm watching my sugar and they tasted sweet. I limited myself to 2, Altho I wanted more. A couple of things to look out for. The jerk chicken definitely has a spicy kick to it ( as it should) and the curry chicken used wings instead of breast meat. It was delicious, but threw my wife for a loop.
I highly recommend coming here. The owner treats you like family. -

Another day for some more delicious Bahamian dishes. The food is always delicious. Today I had bar b q wings, potato salad and Mac and cheese. My son had curry chicken with a side of Mac and cheese and my husband had ribs, Mac and cheese and potato salad.

First time at the Taste of the Bahamas. It was Delicious we will be back ! We had the Curry Chicken and the Seafood Trio; Conch, Fish & Shrimp with Bahamian potato salad and Bahamian wings. Yum Yum.

Ambience here is amazing! Food is equally incredible. This spot is a great addition to Charlotte!

This place is a GEM! Food, portions, and customer service are absolutely on point! Place reflects the laid back atmosphere of the Caribbean. Come to talk, drink, and eat. Portions are HUGE, partner and I ordered two main entree's and only ale to eat one. Little wait for the ribs but TOTALLY worth it. Family owned and amazing customer service, can't wait to come back.
